Unarmed Security

Our unarmed security team is comprised of security professionals that have received and successfully completed situational awareness and workplace violence prevention training. Additionally, all employees undergo a thorough background check to the satisfaction of Counterforce Solutions Security Management Team, to ensure only the highest qualified candidates are selected. All unarmed officers receive 4 hours of training and ongoing less lethal training, such as baton, handcuffing, pepper spray & taser, upon completion of a 90 day probationary period of employment.

Less Lethal

The Less Lethal security division is made up of officers that have received specific less lethal training. Prior to becoming a Less Lethal officer, each person much complete both a 90 day probationary period of employment and then complete 16 hours of required training. Officers receive specific subject matter training for each of the weapons or tools he or she carries while on duty. Clients that select this category of officer receive an officer that is equipped with, handcuffs, OC / pepper spray and batons. Tasers and Medical or first responder kits can be carried at this category upon client request. Firearms are not carried at this level.


Less Lethal officers receive 16 hours of training and are fully equipped to address a variety of situations; and, in accordance with their training and company policy, directly respond to each situation professionally, while keeping the safety of property and staff as the highest priority. The less lethal security division is presently Counterforce-Solutions largest service division and by client demand, is steadily growing.


Counterforce Solutions Armed Security service is comprised of security professionals that have completed both Nevada state required firearms qualification training and Counterforce Solutions use of deadly force training. Our armed security officers are required to maintain state licensure and qualifications, while also completing ongoing company required firearms training and qualifications. Armed officers are required to carry less than lethal use of force options and successfully complete training and certification requirements for use and de-escalation of deadly force training.

Counterforce Solutions security training team possess Subject Matter Expert (SME) level education and experience and ensures that all armed officers clearly understand their role as an armed security officer, and know verbatim, what circumstances or situations must be present to justify the use of deadly force. All armed officers are required to complete 24 hours of training and receive ongoing refresher training courses. Clients that select the Armed security service level receive officers that are trained for targeted security services, where a higher than normal risk is clearly present.

Armed Patrol Service

Our Armed Patrol Service is our premier service, specifically designed to be cost effective and provide the best qualified and highest trained personnel available. Naturally, patrol officers drive company vehicles and therefore the traditional background check is extended to include a 3 to 5 year driving history, as these officers are entrusted to operate company vehicles. All of our patrol officers are Armed, so they are available to respond to emergencies at any of our client locations and take control of any given situation, where supervision may be needed. Our patrol division represents our supervisory team and, as such, are required to receive the highest degree of training available. Each armed patrol officer is required to complete 32 hours of training and complete ongoing refresher training every quarter.

Consultations are comprised of customized, professional, Safety and Security evaluations. We understand that no clients situation is exactly the same as another and situations can change with little to no warning. Consultations are conducted by Counterforce-Solutions field management team, where clients have the option of having a conference call, meeting our team at our central located office or our team coming directly to your location at your convenience.

The primary purpose of this meeting is to triage and evaluate the severity of a clients situation and circumstances and begin the planning and mitigation process. The majority of consultations begin via email or a conference call and transition to site visits upon completion of preliminary safety evaluations.

Threat Assessments

Threat Assessment consultations are consultations when a client has received or is concerned with any threat of violence or has direct cause to believe there is a threat to the safety and security of their business or staff. These consultations are also considered high risk consultations. No situation is out of reach or not able to be mitigated, even if a situation has already occurred. Many clients contact us after an incident has occurred. This is completely normal. One of the best things about a threat assessment consultation is we are prepared to assist you in mitigating the fall out of any situation, regardless of what has happened. Additionally, we are prepared to offer, at no cost to you, a written letter of recommendation or written consultation, specifically advising what we believe would be the best course of action.

We would never see a dentist if we became sick, nor would we see a car mechanic for a broken computer. When clients are faced with safety and security related issues, trust the professionals, and rest easy knowing our no cost threat assessment consultation is developed from years of professional experience, and can help you address any situation you may be facing.

We at Counterforce-Solutions understand that sometime frightening and unthinkable situations occur. Consultations are at no cost to our clients and we made it as easy as possible for clients to retain a variety of security services in as little as 4 hours’ notice. One key aspect that makes us different from others, is that we understand the shock that can follow incidents. We are here to help you during your time of need and are capable of providing pre contractual services via standing guard or mobile armed patrol; all without signing a single contract. CPR / First Aid & AED

Workplace Violence Prevention

Every day, thousands of people go to work and never consider they could become a victim of workplace violence. The workplace is not immune from violence but rather, there is a higher likelihood of violence occurring while we are at work, than when we are at home with our family’s. For many people the workplace can be a stressful place and as a result of such stress, acts of violence can occur with little to no warning. The COVID-19 pandemic, having caused thousands of people to lose their jobs, has dramatically increased stress related issues to our economy and the workplace; and as a result, the workplace has unfortunately become an even more volatile environment for an act of workplace violence to occur.

Hostile Work Terminations

Operating a business requires a lot of work. Depending on one’s role within their organization, one may find themselves responsible for the unpleasant task of having to terminate vendors, contractors and or employees.
